I saw this video of Bill Maher’s show on Qwaider’s blog…
I really hate such distasteful comedy. I mean, I’ve seen so many offensive comedy shows before, but at least they were funny enough to make you let it go and just laugh. This is not funny, it is very offensive. Even though I believe that this thing they’re making fun of is not what Hijab is supposed to be.
It is really sad how people tend to mix up religion with tradition only to come up with some weird rituals. What’s even sadder is how they truly believe that they’re right and what they’re doing is the Islamic way to do it.
I was going to write a long post on my views on Hijab, but Mr. Ali from Ummah Films has saved me with his awesome video on Hijab. I couldn’t have said it any better….
